So what is one to do when in a B-squared (bored and broke) situation? Sure, if you are in a bigger town you can scour the street malls for performers or simply sit on a park bench and watch the people. But what if you are from a small town? Or a suburb? Hmmm...what to do? Well I have compiled a list of things to keep your eyes interest and your money!
.)Try a fly-on-a-leash (internet instructions available)
.)Dress up in your finest and take glamour shots with your own camera
.)Take turns cutting and dying eachother's hair...it'll grow back
.)Creative prank calls...priceless
.)Frisby at the park...or parking lot! (stay away from expensive cars)
.)Backyard camping
.)Cupboard pot-luck (invite friends and free the cupboard of rarely used foods)
.)See who can create the best (or worst) creations with food you already have
.)Roast nuts, marshmallows, etc. over candels with toothpicks
.)A pampering day (shave, paint nails, rinse and actually repeat, homemade masks...)
.)Learn the basics of a new language
.)Take a stab at art with any available tools (even poetry)
.)Learn oragami
.)Shoot nature (with a camera only!!!)
.)Cook some me3als in advance so you can eat right away the next few days
.)Make a blog or a video for youtube
.)Organize old pictures (you'll find some treasures)
.)Re-arrange furniture and create a whole new living environment
.)Learn how to live green...and take the first steps
.)Go to a nearby town's largest store dressed like a crazy and act schizo until you get enough hilarious reactions to laugh about the rest of the day
.)Look through old movies and watch a classic
.)Think up your own game...then play it
.)Boost your brain with puzzles and brain teasers
.)Meditate, sleep, take a bath with some wine...just have some down time!
.)Hike, bike, etc. (nature never closes)
